Why are there synthetic fibers in your wools?Updated 2 months ago
We choose materials that contain as many natural fibers as possible. However, it is generally necessary to retain a small proportion of synthetic fibers, as they enable the knitwear to hold together better and retain its shape over time.
Synthetic fibers, such as nylon or elastane, for example, are added to reinforce the fabric structure, helping to maintain garment shape, prevent warping and improve elasticity. This combination also increases wear resistance and facilitates care, making garments more resistant to wrinkling and pilling. Synthetic fibers also help to stabilize dyeing, ensuring more uniform, longer-lasting colors.
